Daily Maps Tuesday February 3rd, 2026

This morning, we are seeing a clipper come through the Ohio and Tennessee Valley. We will see another clipper later today come through parts of the Northeast. Accumulations look to be a coating to 4” , with the heavier totals across the Ohio Valley into the Appalachians. The Southeast will see some showers come through the area today. Temps across the South have warmed up a bit from the cold weather they have been experiencing. Cold weather still impacting the Upper Plains, Great Lakes, and Northeast. While temps aren’t as cold, as I write this its 20 degrees where I’m located, its a warm up from the single digits and below zero temps the areas has seen. The arctic cold returns this weekend for the Northeast with below zero temperatures and wind chills, creating some blustery conditions.
