Daily Maps Thursday February 12th, 2026

This morning, we are seeing snow showers across parts of the Northeast. Accumulations look to be light with a coating to 1”. Rain and snow out in the Rockies with snow in the higher elevations today, and some gusty conditions as well through the area. Colder weather today lingering in the Plains through the Midwest and into the Northeast. Looking ahead to next week the majority of the US will see some warmer temperatures, especially the Plains, Great Lakes, and Northeast. Temps look to be above freezing for a few days, where most of the warmth will stay to the south and southern plains. With how cold it’s been in these areas, anything above freezing will feel like a warm summer day.
