This morning, we are seeing rain move through the Ohio Valley and parts of Florida, while parts of the Great Lakes and Northeast are experiencing light snow showers. Accumulations are expected to remain minimal for most areas, with only a light dusting. However, portions of upstate New York and the UP of Michigan could receive between one and two inches of snow. A cooler air mass has settled into the Northern Plains and extends through the Great Lakes into the Northeast, reinforcing a more seasonably brisk feel across these regions. This shift marks a noticeable contrast from the milder conditions experienced in recent days. As we move into the afternoon and evening hours, precipitation will develop in other parts of the country. Showers are expected across portions of the Four Corners States, while Florida may see a more active pattern with scattered showers and thunderstorms.
