Severe weather and heavy rains continue in the Mississippi Valley into the Tennessee Valley and parts of Texas and Oklahoma today. These storms are already producing tornadoes this morning and will continue to throughout the day. Hail and damaging winds will also be associated with this storms as it just stalls out over the area. All the rain in the last 24 hours has created some dangerous flooding for the Tennessee and Mississippi Valleys with several inches of rain already. This system will continue to produce heavy rains to the area where a foot of rain is not out of the question. Snow and ice in Northern Maine today with a dusting of snow for accumulations. Warmer temps today for most of the US.
