This morning, in the Northeast snow showers are moving through, producing light accumulations in some areas and creating a wintry start to the day. Meanwhile, Northern California is experiencing scattered showers as a system pushes through the region, adding to recent precipitation. Across Texas, conditions remain active with showers and thunderstorms expected to persist throughout much of the day. This prolonged activity could lead to periods of heavier rainfall and localized disruptions. The Great Lakes and Northeast continue to feel the cooler temperatures, reinforcing a lingering chill. However, a gradual shift is on the horizon, with warmer weather moving into the this week. Wind will also be a notable factor today. Gusty conditions are developing across the Carolinas, as well as stretching from the Northern Plains into parts of Wisconsin and Minnesota. These areas could see some gusts of 30-40mph.
