This morning, rain showers are moving through Minnesota and portions of the Northern Plains. In Montana and Wyoming, gusty conditions are expected to persist throughout the day, with wind gusts reaching up to 50 mph. As we head into tonight and into tomorrow, a more organized line of showers and thunderstorms is expected to take shape. These storms will become severe, bringing heavy rainfall, hail, and damaging winds. Additionally, the possibility of a tornado cannot be ruled out, making it important to closely monitor forecasts and warnings. Meanwhile, unsettled weather continues across the western United States. Persistent rain and snow are expected, particularly in higher elevations such as the Rockies and the Sierras. Temperature trends also highlight a contrast across the country. Much of the eastern United States will continue to see mild conditions, offering a more spring-like feel. In contrast, the western regions will remain cooler under the influence of ongoing systems.
